It was a windy Saturday, the one preceding Valentine’s Day, but everyone was feisty and hot all for the win at the 1st Amazing Love Race,
The Persimmon Plus and Pueblo Verde offered lovers a chance to have their most adventurous and challenging date blazing loving trails through Cebu and Lapu Lapu city. Top finishers
Neil Ebrada and April Rosalejos edged out the other young couples of the metro, displaying exceptional ingenuity and stamina in eating chiliburgers, creating romantic messages, looking and mending for broken hearts while being handcuff. Their stamina and patience also outperform other couples at Pueblo Verde.A cutthroat competition where ranks were decided within seconds of each other, the Amazing Love Race had Ebrada and Rosalejos checking in within one hour, 17 minutes and 24 seconds, securing an elaborate Valentine’s celebration with a cash prize and a dinner date for two.
“It was a lot of fun,” said Ebrada. “It was a great way to know more about my partner.” Ebrada says their six-month-old partnership has been kept interesting with fun and interesting experiences such as the race.
Harold Ricaborda and Aileen Medico checked in second, just seven minutes shy of the top plum. Jesumine Abella and Cherryl Desucatan came in third place at one hour and 28 minutes.

Patterned after the hit television series The Amazing Race, teams faced the task of navigating through AboitizLand’s commercial developments The Persimmon Plus and Pueblo Verde as they completed physical and mental challenges.All couple-participants were given gift certificates from Mr. Coffee, Carlito’s Way Diner & Dong Juan for their Valentine’s date at The Persimmon Plus.
